Paul Clair Vanderslice

Paul Clair Vanderslice went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. He was at home holding hands with his loving wife “Easia” whom he adored. Paul was the son of the late Paul St. Clair and Vaun Vanderslice of Beaver, PA. He is survived by his wife; his three sons, Gordon, Jeffrey, David, and one daughter, Paula; four grandchildren and three stepchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Tom (Jean) of Schwickley, PA, one sister Margie Gilchrist of West Chester, PA.  Also surviving to cherish his memories are sister-in-law, Geri Nichols (Nick); Brenda Ponton (Al). Paul was honorably discharged from the US Air Force after serving over 20 years. Upon retiring from the Air Force he started a new career and retired as a Compliance Officer with “OSHA” (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 16, 2019 at Jordan Baptist Church with Pastor Melvin Campbell officiating. Paul was a member of Jordan Baptist Church. He loved his pastor, Melvin Campbell, and all of his church family. Family and friends are welcome to visit at the home – 241 Salisbury Circle, Lynchburg, Virginia.
