Virginia S. Governor, 96, of Lynchburg, died Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was the wife of the late John Smith Governor.
She is survived by her three sons, Mike Governor, John Governor IV and his wife, Sandy, and Kenneth Governor and his wife, Rebecca; grandchildren, Kevin Governor, Amy Linn Governor, and Christy Bolten; brothers, Frank and Roy Saunders; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 12 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
