John Malok IV, 71, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Born September 2, 1948 in Stratford Connecticut, he was a son of the late John and Valerie Malok.
John was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, was a facility manager for a nonprofit in North Carolina before retiring and served in the United States Navy. John especially enjoyed being outside, working in the yard and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joy Malok; children, Emily Malok, Michelle Bruner, John Malok V, and Mary Malok; twin grandchildren, Jack and Caroline Bruner; siblings, Michael Malok, Patricia Loso, and Penelope Kimpel, and a host of other family members.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church- Bedford. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery-Lynchburg.
