Connie Sue Tillman, 69, of Roanoke, went to be home with the Lord after a long illness
She was preceded in death by her father, Frida L. Tillman, Sr.; stepmother, Ruby; mother, Cordelia E. Mills Tillman Hall; step-father, Henry; brother, Frida L Tillman Jr. (Bo); and sister-in- law, Louise.
She leaves behind a sister, Carolyn A Tillman Kimberlin (Bitsy); brother George W. both of Lehigh Acres FL; stepsisters, Jackie Lizzana & Margaret Wise of Pass Christian MS; aunt, Sue Wills Peterson & family of Daytona FL; nephew, Warren L Tillman & his family of Roanoke; a special niece, Eleanor Tillman & baby Luna of Lynchburg; and a very special childhood friend, Verte Feagin of Mobile AL.
She was a retired RN and loved children & animals.

She will be laid to rest with her mother at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens in Roanoke.
