Anna E. Lally Brent, 66, of Bedford died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Gary Wayne Brent.
Born November 28, 1950 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Donald Eugene Lally and Laura Steinoff Lally.
Anna worked for the U.S. Post Office for 30 years. The last 10 years before her retirement Anna was the Post Master of Church Road, Virginia.
In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by her son, James David Marvin, Jr.; stepson; Richard Quinn Brent; grandchildren: McKenzie Marvin; and sister: Patricia Gorgy.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home; Bedford at 1:00 p.m. with the Pastor Robert L. Rowland officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
